New Jersey Description This Project was a neglected single-family house, which was a mere 1,400 square feet. The lot has very beautiful hills and a wonderful view of New York City. In this project we added 2,750 square feet of living space by adding a generous family room next to an open kitchen. We added windows in the family room and a sliding door that connects the living room with a patio so that the owners can enjoy the view of New York City. 4.150 s.f. New Jersey Description When we were hired for this project, the owner, who is an interior designer, only needed plans for building permits; however, when we saw the existing layout and the proposed new one, we felt we could improve it. The owner gave us a blank canvas to develop an open kitchen that connects to a beautiful patio/ garden.
